Description

Responsible for developing and coordinating compliance efforts within the bank through management of a team of Compliance professionals. Ensures that the policies and procedures comply with appropriate laws and regulations. Responsible for the development and coordination of charter bank community development activities to ensure adherence and compliance with banking regulations.Responsibilities
Coordinates and oversees adherence to the compliance program through management of a team of Compliance professionals.Analyzes new and pending laws and regulations which directly affect the company’s practices. Develops or revises appropriate policies, procedures, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance.Ensures that internal polices and procedures are prepared, reviewed, and updated as necessary. Represents the charter bank in projects involving information disclosure, class action deregulations, etc.Develops and coordinates compliance efforts. Assists senior management with the maintenance and institution of policies and procedures.Researches regulatory reference materials and obtains advice from regulatory agency staff, legal counsel and professional compliance associates. Responds to questions for employees and managers.Education/Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with Ten (10) years of banking experience focused in compliance and/or audit. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.Lic/Cert/RegRequired: None requiredPreferred: None preferred
