Job Type

We are looking for a Consumer Fraud Reporting Analyst to join the Fraud Operations team. Our team’s mission is to identify emerging fraud patterns and prevent fraud loss before it occurs. The Consumer Fraud Reporting Analyst develops reports, queries, dashboards, and more in collaboration with the Fraud Managers and Fraud Team Leads to assist in their 24/7 global fraud mitigation efforts.

This position requires the ability to work independently and quickly while delivering high-quality output. Multiple tasks will be worked on in parallel requiring strong organizational and time management skills. Further, this role mandates strong experience with relational databases, the ability to understand stakeholder requirements in developing reporting solutions which meet their needs, and the creativity to suggest solutions in the absence of definitive guidance.

We’re a “best of both worlds” kind of company. We’re big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact. We’re curious, fun, a little intense, and kind of obsessed with helping local businesses thrive. Does that sound like a compelling place to work?

  • Develop a deep understanding of and continuously improve the fraud data ETL processes
  • Closely partner with Fraud Managers in identifying gaps in existing fraud reports and suggest & build optimizations for these
  • Structure complex, ambiguous business questions and utilize data analytics to deliver actionable insights to the anti-fraud organization
  • Perform high-priority, ad-hoc analysis as needed in response to rapidly changing fraud attack patterns
  • Collaborate with other analysts and help guide reporting strategy based on previous project outcomes and deliverables

  • BS Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3+ years experience creating and evaluating multi-step SQL statements involving several tables with complex relationships
  • 1+ year experience with a BI visualization tool (Tableau preferred)
  • Knowledge of Teradata preferred
  • Ability to work in an environment with deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability and confidence to succinctly convey complex information to senior management
