Title: Head Client Identity and Access Management

Job Responsibilities

Own the cross-channel authentication management and orchestration for both strategic vision and technical execution across all channels (Digital, Interactive Voice Response, Call Center, Branch, ATM). Primary responsibilities include Leading a small team of SMEs that is accountable for partnering with Wholesale and Consumer business segments, Fraud, Cyber, Technology Delivery and Enterprise Risk teams to continually assess and mature the cross-channel authentication management and orchestration Maintaining a unified cross-channel authentication management strategy Sponsoring and driving the maturity of client identity and access controls to close greatest risks and client experience improvement opportunities Partnering closely with Fraud and Cyber Ops CSOC and Countermeasures team in understanding the fraud and threat landscape, and effectiveness of current control capabilities Partnering with Cyber Governance and Enterprise Risk partners to operationalize metrics to measure and monitor client security risks Initiating and leading design activities with matrix partners to enhance controls and end-user experience and also participates actively in design activities led by other matrix partners (Fraud) where active efforts planned or in flight could be leveraged to enhance the overall client identity and access controls


  • Executive-level presentation and communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders
  • A hands-on doer leader with a strong ability to influence and execute in a highly matrixed large company environment
  • Strong industry knowledge and experience in client IAM across the various banking channels (i.e., digital, interactive voice response, call center, branch, and ATMs).
  • Strong familiarity with major client IAM technology products and providers
  • Experience in design thinking, customer UIUX, brand voice, and end-to-end customer experience
  • Strong understanding from both the user experience and technical architecture of key Identity and Access Management capabilities including SSO, MFA, RBACABAC, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, Active Directory, session management High-level technical knowledge should include micro-services, RESTful API, JSON, RWD, and block-chain
  • Strong understanding of Agile and experience leading in Agile environment.
  • SAFe knowledge and certification highly preferred Experience owning and executing a product roadmap through backlog management, requirements gathering and user-story development.
  • Experienced in leading IAM product, architecture, and tech dev resources to delivery
  • Ability to partner with business and functional stakeholders in a large matrixed company including business partners, legal, risk, compliance, and security peers
  • Strong negotiating skills and ability to drive consensus across functional boundaries
