IFS Solutions Engineer 
The Identity and Fraud Solutions Engineer position is a customer facing role geared to support revenue generation within key accounts. A successful candidate will have excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and a thorough knowledge of the technology being offered. This role also requires the person to be proficient in sharing technical information at the business executive level or at the architect level for a prospective customer and adjusting depth and complexity as needed to facilitate the conversation. It also requires a strong knowledge of advanced analytics and fraud systems within the Communications or Financial Services verticals.

As an IFS Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

  • Product demonstrations
  • Technical presentations
  • Consulting with prospects and customers to qualify opportunities
  • Handling technical product Q&A
  • Leading POC’s
  • Supporting paid pilots
  • Completing RFP’s
  • Presenting competitive analysis
  • Supporting existing customers
  • Presenting at conferences and seminars
  • Continual feedback to product management and engineering on possible improvements, bugs, and customer requirements

Additional Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between the Sales person and the technical demands of the prospect
  • Translate the use cases and requirements of the customer into both understandable deliverables for the sales rep, and technical deliverables for supporting professional services
  • Educate the customer on the capabilities and limitations of the product and integration with their systems.
  • Understand the business of the prospects to support discussions on typical compliance concerns, technical challenges and possible solutions
  • Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate between them
  • Offer guidance on best practices based on industry standards and existing customer base

What makes you a good fit for this role (requirements)?

  • 5+ years of experience in client facing solutions or sales engineering for fraud, authentication, and identity software
  • Solutions Engineer experience with Consumer Fraud Detection software required
  • Computer software background; must understand the technical questions and be able to communicate the key information to stakeholders
  • Must have the ability to work within software for demos to key clients and stakeholders
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree highly preferred
  • Effective communication
  • Key financial drivers within Financial Services and/or Communications verticals
  • Machine Learning
  • 35-50% travel

This is an outside sales role and therefore a remote opportunity. 35-50% travel in various locations across the United States is required, so we are flexible on location. Candidates must be open to travel with access to a home/remote worksite when not on the road.
