VP of Quality & Risk 

This position is with a 400+ bed hospital located a little over an hour east of Houston, TX.


    • Oversees Quality Management activities in the hospital including; Hospital Wide QA/PI Program, Regulatory Compliance, Peer Review/Reappointment, and State and Federal required reporting.
    • Oversees Risk Management activities in the hospital including; Medical Malpractice Management, Contract Management, Insurance Applications, and Claims.
    • As a member of the Senior Administrative Team, responsible to participate in Strategic Planning, Financial Review, Medical Staff Oversight, and as Administrator on Call.
    • Serves as a resource/educator for Risk and Quality activities to hospital and medical staff.
    • Attends and reports to multiple hospital and medical staff committees and other focused groups for Process Management.
    • Supervises Patient Advocacy/Complaint & Grievance Process.
    • Reports directly to the CEO
    • 10+ reports including an Assistant Director of Quality (RN)
    • Annual performance bonus



    • Masters strongly preferred
    • RN not required.
    • Extensive Quality/Risk, Regulatory Compliance, Medical Malpractice Management, Peer Review/Reappointment, Contract Management and Insurance Applications & Claims
